My Interests (as of 1995)
-
Star Trek.
-
Writing computer programs.
-
Listening to music, including:
-
Camping-Hiking. See my page on 1995 Wildflower Hike with pictures.
-
Reading, both fiction and non-fiction. In 1995 I wrote "This summer I finished a book on fuzzy logic and Richard Feynman's What Do You Care What Other People Think? (not quite as good as Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman, but interesting if you're interested in the space shuttle Challenger explosion investigation).
I have also read a quite a bit of fiction, since this summer I have read 4 books of Isaac Asimov's Foundation series books (Foundation, Forward the Foundation, Second Foundation, and Foundation and Empire), and 100 Short Science Fiction Stories which was edited by Asimov. Talk about prolific and good. I also read Tom Clancy's Op-Center and recently finished The Sum of All Fears, which was excellent. I am looking forward to reading Debt of Honor."
-
Playing Games. (I know lots of 'em.)
-
Passing Interests. These are things I might watch a documentary on and find it interesting.
